The Scandia Run provides fun for the entire family! Courses weave through the outskirts of Junction City into the beautiful Willamette Valley farmlands! If you’re looking for a flat, fast, road race the USATF certified 5K or 10K is for you! If you want to take your time and enjoy a gorgeous August morning the 4-Mile Walk is a great option. Kiddos can run alongside Vikings in the 400m “Run with the Vikings.” After your race, enjoy Junction City’s world-famous Scandinavian Festival. This year marks the 50th Scandia Run! There will be special gifts and awards celebrating this historic occasion.

Assemble a minimum of five runners to score. Register your team in either the 5K or 10K business or open division. Your team’s top 5 finishers combine times for a team score. No extra form needed. Just register each team member under the same team name at no extra cost!

“The Roadrunners’ Classic”
The Scandia Run is one of the longest running road races in the Pacific Northwest! It was started in 1975 by the Junction City High School Cross Country Team in cooperation with the Junction City Parks and Recreation Department. The Scandia Run & Walk is now managed by Valley South Athletic Club.
