The Scandia Run provides fun for the entire family! Courses weave through the outskirts of Junction City into the beautiful Willamette Valley farmlands! If you’re looking for a flat, fast, road race the USATF certified 5K or 10K is for you! If you want to take your time and enjoy a gorgeous August morning the 4-Mile Walk is a great option. Kiddos can run alongside Vikings in the 400m “Run with the Vikings.” After your race, enjoy Junction City’s world-famous Scandinavian Festival.

Print out forms can be mailed to VSAC PO Box 336 Junction City OR 97448. Forms must be received by the VSAC PO Box by 08/10/2026. Forms can also be dropped off to Eugene Running Company.

The Scandia Run is one of the longest running road races in the Pacific Northwest! It was started in 1975 by the Junction City High School Cross Country Team in cooperation with the with the Junction City Parks and Recreation Department. The Scandia Run and Walk is now managed by Valley South Athletic Club.
